Default R/RT spirit spammer viable

Do you guys think an offence or defensive sprit spamming build could be viable after the update?

Offensive spirit spamming is more than viable.

With the latest skill update it is super easy and a lot more deadly than before. You can now produce a higher number of spirits and their levels are higher by 3 or 4, so more spirits plus stronger spirits created in less time....hmmm I would say very viable.

Put it this way:
Oath Shot spirit spammers spam more spirits than I can troll and fake QQ in one day.
It was great before but now it is only better. Mostly due to the fact spirits have a MUCH less cast time and because they're more bulky and stronger.

Hmmm is there any way that it would work better on R/Rt than Rt/x?... Spirit Siphon is non-elite and gives Rits ample energy management.

A R/rt can poop in more spirits because of this constant re-recharge/
In this way, something like union dying is no big deal.

but yeah since oath shot has a 50% chance to miss when expertise is lowetr tahn 7, you would have to go with r/rt

Well there is no reason that a Ranger could not carry Spirit Siphon either. It is in Channeling Magic which I assume a Ranger Spirit Spammer will have points in Channeling.

There is also the Option of [Offering of Spirit] for energy managment and running [Serpents Quickness] for a faster recharge on spirits. Sure it's not "instarecharge" but It's a viable option. I mean how often do you need to reset the same spirit in each battle anyway?

Something like 5 offensive spirits, Offering of Spirit, Serpents, and Dwarvan Stability(to lower the amount of points needed in WS ATtribute line) and you should be able to have fun boreing yourself to death with passive play rather easily.

Mighty was Vorizun
Spirit Rift



I'm running this right now. I just use #2-7 before I run into a mob and then spam spirit rift until they're dead. I have absolutely no problems managing my energy with this set up.

Summon Spirits
Mighty was Vorizun
Caretaker's Charge
Pain
Bloodsong
Vampirism
Shadowsong
Agony

This also works pretty well because caretaker's charge is basically a free +5e and 35hp

Would it be better just to go Rit for the party healing?

Yes i'm seeing absolutely no reason to ever do this on a Ranger over a Ritualist. Even if you wanted to use Splinter Weapon for some active damage the Rits is better thans to the extra charge/damage.
